The documents that govern Donjons & Savons, in plain words and in your language. Every document exists in an adult version and a child version (written in accessible language), and every country has its own.
Your country
On first use, Donjons & Savons asks you which country you live in. That choice decides which terms of service and which privacy policy apply to you, under the law of that country. The app does not geolocate you: your declaration is what counts.
This choice is final. It also decides which servers host your data, and that data cannot be moved afterwards. If the app is reinstalled, the country will have to be chosen again, and data linked to another choice will not be transferred.
The documents of the country you chose are the ones that bind you. They are also available at any time from within the app.
France

Data hosted on servers located in the European Union (Google Cloud / Firebase, Google Ireland Ltd). French law, GDPR, majority at 18.
Terms of Service, the rules of the game: accounts, clans, parental responsibility and protection of minors. They are accepted inside the app before playing.

Further countries will open progressively. Each will arrive with its own set of legal documents, adapted to the law that applies there: terms of service and privacy policy, in an adult version and a child version. They will be published on this page as soon as the country opens.

Delete my account
Deletion is final: you will not be able to recover your data. It takes effect immediately (account unusable, profile removed from the clan), then the data is kept for 30 days outside the service before permanent erasure. If the account owns the clan, the clan is deleted and the profiles of the minors who no longer have a legal guardian follow.
To withdraw your consent for a child you let play, there is no need to delete your account: in the app, on the clan screen, open the child's menu and choose “Withdraw my consent and erase this child's data” (an option reserved for the chiefs of their clan of origin). The child leaves the game at once; for 3 days, “Restore this child” cancels the decision. After that, the child's game data is deleted in all their clans on the same schedule, and their account is deactivated (if they have no account, their profile is erased).
Cancel your subscription before deleting your account, from the Google Play Store: deletion may not cancel it and it could keep being billed. Content bought in the shop is lost along with the account.
Cookies
This site is cookie-free! No analytics, advertising or tracking cookie is set, on any page.
One exception: the account deletion page uses Google sign-in (Google Identity Services), which may set its own technical cookies, strictly necessary for authentication and managed directly by Google.
